The students and teachers and Board of Trustees of Oroua Downs School are looking for anyone who might be interested in joining the Whānau and Friends of Oroua Downs School.
This would involve.
Occasionally helping around the school.
Deciding how to spend the home and school money to benefit the learning space.
FUNd raising.
Organising social events to encourage school unity.
We had wonderfully active home and school volunteers in the past, but we need a new group of Whānau and Friends to start the ball rolling again.
There is over $10000 in the home and school account that needs to be spent so if you're thinking that by joining there will be endless fundraising required then relax, this isn't the case.
With the school lunches providing the kids with great food every day we won’t be doing sausage sizzles at school anymore so we need ideas and help to run raffles etc.
We need passionate people who want to help the school in any little way they can.

Tuesday the 5th September @ 6pm.
Bring your kids along if you like and they can play with Lucas and Nelly.
